However, we are delighted to present our Thompson’s Decaf blend, which we believe is an exceptional decaffeinated tea which has succeeded in retaining the taste and flavour that is too often lost in the decaffeination process.

“Decaffeinated” refers to a product that originally contained caffeine and then underwent a process to remove most of its caffeine content. Decaffeinated tea is NOT caffeine-free. The decaffeination process leaves a small amount of caffeine in the leaf. Therefore our decaffeinated tea is not caffeine free but contains far less caffeine than our normal teas.
